From 12-15 November, Germany hosted the FISTC World Championships, where athletes from all over the world competed with their purebred sled dogs. One of the most exciting competitions in winter sports is not just a test of physical strength: the harmony, discipline and mutual trust between athlete and dog are key to success.
At this year's World Championships, the competitors had to cope with particularly changeable weather conditions. From hot weather to heavy rain, the course presented new challenges every day - a real test for man and beast alike.
