Last week, we had the privilege of participating in a truly exceptional professional experience: Mediagnost Kft. was invited by Philips DXR’s development center, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, to attend a three-day international product development workshop.
The event took place in Pune, India, where we had the opportunity to collaborate with top engineers, developers, and product managers to explore how the Philips radiology portfolio could become even more innovative and effective.
The Goal: Innovation Through Collaboration
The main objective of the workshop was to reimagine existing product groups from a conceptual standpoint and jointly identify development opportunities that deliver real added value to medical technology users around the world.
Mediagnost Kft. was represented by Dr. Róbert Krisch (Head of R&D) and Tamás Molnár (Project Manager), who actively contributed to the evaluation of concepts and idea generation throughout the event.
Four Focus Areas – Endless Possibilities
Over the course of three days, we explored the development directions of four distinct product groups. The interactive sessions brought together experts from various fields to collaboratively examine:
- what technological innovations can enhance diagnostic accuracy,
- how systems can become more user-friendly,
- and what emerging trends and future needs should be integrated into early-stage product development.
Participants also shared market insights from their respective regions, making it possible to highlight global development priorities through an international lens.
