Last week, Stuttgart hosted MedtecLIVE 2026, one of Europe's most important meeting points for players in the medical device manufacturing and supplier industries. Mediagnost participated in the event together with Z Elektronika – this year, the two of us represented Hungary at the event as Hungarian exhibitors.
With a joint stand, we were practically present „as the Hungarian stand” at the exhibition. For many visitors, this became a natural meeting point to learn about companies representing high added-value development and manufacturing competencies in the medtech industry, arriving from Hungary. The joint appearance not only worked well professionally but also created an open, cooperative atmosphere based on visitor feedback.
The three-day exhibition clearly reflected the directions currently shaping the medtech sector. Automation, manufacturing flexibility, the increasing prevalence of AI-based solutions, and the role of reliable, long-term supplier relationships were discussed in almost every professional conversation. Additionally, sustainable manufacturing and adapting to ever-faster development cycles were also prominent topics.
It was particularly interesting for us to see that manufacturers and development companies are increasingly looking for partners who can provide support not just on the level of individual components or partial tasks, but also think in terms of more complex collaborations. During personal meetings, numerous discussions were initiated, which have already led to further consultations and follow-up contacts.
One of MedtecLIVE's greatest values continues to be the opportunity for genuine professional dialogue. This year, the exhibition's atmosphere was less about flashy marketing and more about practical challenges, manufacturing experiences, and collaborative problem-solving.
We are delighted to have been a part of this environment, and we thank everyone we met in Stuttgart for the conversations. Following the exhibition, several new connections and professional discussions will continue, which we see as an encouraging start for the coming period.
