It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. János Csikós, founder of Mediagnost Ltd.
János was not only an excellent engineer and leader, but also a true inspiration to all his colleagues. His engineering knowledge, ingenuity, and unwavering optimism laid the foundation for Mediagnost’s success. He participated as an expert in numerous international projects and played a pioneering role in creating new constructions and patents that became known for their reliability and quality.
He founded Mediagnost Ltd. in 1988, which under his leadership developed from a small engineering office into an internationally recognized medium-sized company. His philosophy was always that “What is beautiful is always at least a little bit good” – in this spirit, he strived for the best and most perfect in all his work.
With incredible energy and openness, he sought new solutions. Together with his colleagues, he implemented numerous innovations, while always listening to others’ opinions with attention and respect. His name is associated with, among other things, the close professional cooperation established with Philips and Siemens, which continues to define the company’s operations to this day.
János ensured that Mediagnost could operate on solid foundations in the long term. Through the foundation he created, he guaranteed that continuity of collaboration would be secured for the company’s employees and business partners.
Although he is no longer personally among us, his spirit, professional legacy, and human example live on in all of Mediagnost’s work.
